App Fails to Launch After Installation

I've run the installer, but it won't bring up the configuration page.

This Is Usually a Local File Issue

This is commonly the result of running the Apps & Features uninstall and the system not removing specific files.

Steps

  • After selecting Uninstall from Apps & Features for Chronicall Desktop, check the following locations to see if any Chronicall Desktop files remain:

    • C:\Users\[User that downloaded the Desktop function]
      • Is there still a .chronicall folder? If so, delete this folder.
    • C:\Users\[User that downloaded the Desktop function]\AppData\Local
      • Is there a Chronicall Desktop folder there? If so, delete this folder.
  • Try running the install function one final time afterward. If it still fails, reach out to us.

    Note

    It's possible your local firewall or antivirus is blocking the install as well if it fails again. We recommend disabling your antivirus and trying again.
