Accessing an Authentication Key

This article provides a definition for an authentication key and also provides instructions on how to access an authentication key.

An authentication key is a key/password that is required when making API requests. An authentication key is linked to a specific service user.

To obtain your authentication key, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Chronicall mainpage.
  2. Select the API Enablement section on the left hand sidebar.
  3. Select “Service Users.”
  4. You will then be able to see the key, assuming a user has been configured.
